Alice Marie
Mystical and moody.  Groundbreaking and soul-shaking.  Or more to the point, brilliant.  That's how Bob Leone of the Songwriters Hall of Fame has described Alice Marie's piano-based rock. Indie-Music.com says she's a star whose songs come from someplace way beyond music. And Virt Records touted her as one of its 'gems'.

Formerly an English teacher, magazine editor, and television producer, Alice Marie has appeared at The Bitter End, Arlene's Grocery, Borders Books, The Living Room, 17, and Maxwell's in Hoboken.

EarthGEM is a collaborative effort between mother (Sylvia Wintermyer) and daughter (Shelley Scheerschmidt) to offer one-of-a-kind, handmade American Indian jewelry. It began as an adventurous trip to New Mexico and the discovery of a fascinating culture and the artistic talent of many American Indians.

Shelley and Sylvia travel frequently to New Mexico to meet with American Indian artists who hand create their jewelry using primitive tools and centuries old techniques that have been used for several generations. These beautiful handcrafted pieces are available at www.earthgemjewelry.com
